Crafts & Cocktails: Shibori Dyeing Tuesday, May 7 from 7-9:30pm
Learn the ancient art of Japanese shibori dyeing by creating your own unique pillow cover and a flour sack tea towel at Bonboni’s Crafts & Cocktails event on Tuesday, May 7 from 7-9:30pm.
We’ll spend the evening sipping complimentary cocktails, eating delicious treats, and make TWO projects together. You will learn various folding techniques to first create your own flour sack tea towel to add a little boho-chic charm to your kitchen. Next, you will create a 18″x18″ canvas pillow cover to add a splash of color to your sofa or bedroom.
While shibori dyeing is traditionally done with indigo, we will be using a special navy blue reactive dye to mimic the indigo.
Down pillow inserts are an additional $10, and must be purchased with your ticket if you would like one, or you are welcome to use an insert that you already have at home. Please select “Yes” if you would like to purchase a down pillow insert. If you select “No” you will not receive an insert for your pillow cover at the class.
(Note: your ticket fee is for supplies, treats, etc. since I can’t sell alcohol. Cocktails are complimentary!)
Receive a 20% discount on the entire shop* that evening as well. (Discount may not be combined with other offers. Does not apply to clothing.)
This is a ticketed event, and tickets must be purchased ahead of time. Due to space, tickets are limited. This listing is your event ticket; payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in and get settled before the class begins.
